Navigating Orlando’s theme parks in a premium vehicle requires a bit of strategy. Use this “cheat sheet” to save time, avoid parking headaches, and keep your MFG:DREAMS rental safe.

🅿️ Parking Strategy: Standard vs. Preferred

The Upgrade: At Disney and Universal, you’ll be asked if you want “Standard” or “Preferred” parking.
Our Recommendation: For the Escalade, go with Preferred. It puts you in the rows closest to the entrance, reducing the long walk/tram wait. For the Porsche, Standard is often fine, but be mindful of tight spaces—Preferred spots are sometimes slightly wider.
Cost (Approx): Standard is ~$30–$35; Preferred is ~$50–$60.
Pro-Tip: If you park-hop (visit more than one Disney park in a day), you only pay for parking once. Keep your receipt!

📍 Never Lose the Car (Digital Car Locator)

The parking lots at Magic Kingdom and Universal are massive.

Disney: Use the “Car Locator” feature in the My Disney Experience app. It uses GPS to save your exact row.
Universal: Take a photo of the Character and Level (e.g., “King Kong, Level 3”) before heading to the escalators.

🏙️ Disney Springs (The Pro Move)

If you’re just going for dinner or shopping at Disney Springs:

Parking is FREE: Use the Orange or Lime garages.
The Tech: Look for the green lights on the ceiling of the garages; they indicate an open spot.
Escalade Drivers: The Orange garage typically has slightly higher clearance and easier turns for large SUVs.

🕒 The Golden Hour Trick

Universal: Self-parking is usually FREE after 6:00 PM (excluding Halloween Horror Nights). Perfect for a quick dinner at CityWalk.
Disney: Arriving 45-60 minutes before “Rope Drop” (opening) usually scores you a spot close enough to skip the parking tram entirely.

🎒 The Heat Check

Sunshades: Florida sun is brutal. We’ve provided a sunshade in the trunk/seatback. Please use it while parked at the parks to keep the leather interior of the Porsche or Range Rover cool and protected.
Rain: It will rain at 4:00 PM. Check the trunk for an umbrella—we’ve got you covered.

Don’t Panic: Most parking lot trams have security staff who can help. If you can remember roughly what time you arrived, they can usually tell you which row was being filled at that moment.
