🏁 Porsche Panamera Guide

The Panamera is a masterpiece of engineering. It drives like a sports car but has the luxury of a limousine. Because it’s a Porsche, things are a little different than your average sedan—here is your quick-start guide.

• The Location: You won’t find a start button on the dash or a key slot on the right. The ignition is located to the LEFT of the steering wheel.
• How to Start: 1. Firmly press the brake pedal. 2. Insert the key fob into the slot (or turn the permanent “dummy key” if equipped). 3. Twist clockwise and hold for a second until the engine roars to life.

• Watch the Nose: This car is much lower than an SUV.
• The Rule: Approach speed bumps and steep driveway entrances (common in Orlando plazas) slowly and at an angle.
• Parking: When pulling into a parking spot with a concrete curb, stop early. The front bumper is low and can easily scrape or catch on standard curbs.

• Pairing: Press the PHONE button on the main dash unit, then select Search for Phone. Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is “Discoverable.”
• Audio: Once paired, press the SOURCE button to select Bluetooth Audio for your music.

• Fuel Type: 91+ OCTANE (PREMIUM) ONLY. Using lower grade fuel will cause engine knocking and may trigger a warning light.
• The Door: Located on the Rear Passenger Side.
• How to Open: Ensure the car is unlocked, then simply push the rear edge of the fuel door and it will spring open.

• This car uses a “Dual-Clutch” (PDK) gearbox. It’s incredibly fast, but at very low speeds (like creeping in traffic), it might feel slightly different than a standard automatic. This is normal performance behavior!
